YOSHINORI DOBASHI is a professor at Hokkaido University in the graduate school of information science and technology, Japan. His research interests center in computer graphics including efficient rendering, fluid simulation, sound simulation, image-based approach, directable graphics, haptics, and digital fabrication He received his BE, ME and Ph.D in Engineering in 1992, 1994, and 1997, respectively, from Hiroshima University. He worked at Hiroshima City University from 1997 to 2000 as a research associate.
